21st Century Skills Ohio will host its second conference, Summit 2.5, on December 8, 2011 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Planned keynote speakers include ODE Superintendent Stan Heffner, Karl Fisch, Daniel Pink, Ewan McIntosh and Sarah Elizabeth Ippel.

This year, the Summit will include 10 Innovation Learning Labs offered by 21st Century Skills Ohio partners. The innovation labs are designed to take participants through a 21st Century learning experience and teach them how to translate the experience into their own school learning environment.

We are pleased to announce that OSFC and The Third Teacher are collaborating on an Innovation Lab entitled, 21st Century Learning Environments. We hope you to see you there.

By promoting the design and construction of green, sustainable school buildings, OSFC is positioned to make a tremendous positive impact on student health, test scores, teacher retention and school energy and operational costs.  OSFC is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and our schools are being built to USGBC's LEED for Schools standards.
